"Scout Recognition Sunday"
On Sunday, February 11, 2024, St. Paul’s in Closter, New Jersey, welcomed Cub Scout Pack 20 for “Scout Recognition Sunday.” The turnout was terrific with thirteen Scouts attending along with their moms, dads, and siblings in tow.

Kevin Cook, the visiting officiate conducted the 10:00 A.M. worship service, which included presenting every Scout with a Bible, and small American flags attached with Bible verses. After the service a reception followed in Koepchen Fellowship Hall.

A Thrivent grant was obtained to cover the expenses of this happy day.

St. Paul’s has been a sponsor of the Pack for less than a year and in that time the Cub Scouts, who meet weekly at the church, have accomplished many tasks around the church, and even helped to prepare St. Paul’s Memorial Day float last year.

To God be the glory for this joyous addition to St. Paul’s as they bring The Word to their neighborhood.
