"Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!"  (Philippians 4:4.)

Happy summertime!  This is a season of refreshment, renewal, re-dedication and relaxation, with nature in full array.  We all need fresh supplies of grace and peace, and the Lord has pledged to give us all we require.  Among my many favorite hymns is "This is my Father's world."  (The tune magnifies the lyrics!):

To my dear members and friends of St. Paul's,

This Is My Father’s World

 This is my Father’s world,

  1. And to my list’ning ears
All nature sings, and round me rings
    The music of the spheres.
    This is my Father’s world:
I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas—
    His hand the wonders wrought.

  2. This is my Father’s world:
    The birds their carols raise,
The morning light, the lily white,
    Declare their Maker’s praise.
    This is my Father’s world:
    He shines in all that’s fair;
In the rustling grass I hear Him pass,
    He speaks to me everywhere.

  3. This is my Father’s world:
    Oh, let me ne’er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong,
    God is the ruler yet.
    This is my Father’s world,
    The battle is not done:
Jesus who died shall be satisfied,
And earth and Heav’n be one.

The Elders at St. Paul's are here to serve you, members of our church (God's church).  We want to hear your concerns, and to address them in the best interests of our congregation.  Also to serve our Pastor to ensure his needs and concerns are addressed.

These are trying times for St. Paul's.  We need to "lean back on the Everlasting Arms" of our Creator to guide us in the paths best for us, His people.  Please join us if able at in-person worship and bible study every Sunday.  We need you and you need us, joined together in deepest gratitude for the priceless gifts of forgiveness and eternal life, found only in Jesus our Savior.

We extend our profound gratitude to Pastor Dennis Rockett for his continuing service to us as guest Pastor.  To Donna Munsch, a huge thank-you for her extraordinary leadership as Head Elder, and for her countless other joyful gifts to St. Paul's over many decades of devoted service.  Thanks be to God!

With love in the Lord Jesus, your Elders,

Jim Harbo, Head Elder
